The Dome District was one of the original neighborhood business districts organized in 1991 through the City of Tacoma Neighborhood Business District Revitalization Program. With historic roots in Tacoma’s past, we are committed to the ongoing economic revitalization of the district and its goals for making the Dome District Tacoma’s transportation, retail, dining and entertainment hub!
How to find us? The Dome District is conveniently located near downtown and the Port of Tacoma, just off Exit 133. It is bounded by Pacific Avenue on the west, I-5 on the south, Portland Avenue on the east and Highway 509 on the north. Look for our signature “palm trees” at the bottom of I-705 off ramp into the district and on East D Street across from the main entrance to the Tacoma Dome. These public art masterpieces and the distinctive Dome itself will let you know that you’ve connected with the Dome District!
